Introduction
Claims of the rapid-fire spread of a new type of nimbus contagion XBB1.5 have come out in Pakistan.
An epidemiologist combined with a private university has advised that Omicron subtype XBB1.5 is spreading fleetly in Pakistan.
He said that the outbreak of this new type of nimbus contagion was revealed through genome sequencing. Rana Jawad, an epidemiologist, in a discussion with The News, also expressed the fear that due to limited testing, smaller cases of Corona are coming to light.
Rana Jawad believes that XBB1.5 is the swift-spreading strain of the coronavirus in the world, infecting millions of people. He said that fortunately in Pakistan, people aren't getting seriously ill due to this new type.
It should be noted that during the last 24 hours,1865 tests were conducted in the country in which 5 people were diagnosed with Covid.
Overall, the rate of positive cases of Covid was 0.27 percent.
It should be noted that on the morning of January, the World Health Organization(WHO) said that Omicron subtype XBB1.5 is the most contagious type of this contagion so far.
But the World Organization said that supposedly this type of Omicron doesn't make people veritably sick.
Maria van Kerkhove, head of the WHO's covid commission, said it's the swift-spreading type of all Omicron subtypes. He said that the reason for its largely contagious nature is the inheritable changes in it, due to which this type of covid enters the cells veritably fluently.
XBB1.5 is a subtype with participated parcels of XBB and XBB1, and all three omicron subtypes are able of controlling the vulnerable system's response to contagions, but XBB1.5 has Due to a mutation, this type binds cells more tightly.
